FRENCH FRY SEASONING
Since the early 1970's, American Diners and fast food outlets have been using a seasoned salt on French fries and potato wedges. DA MALAT's FRENCH FRY SEASONING is taken from an original American Diner recipe for seasoned salt.
We prefer the original recipe compared to some UK examples (sometimes called Red Salt or Chip Spice) as the French Fry Seasoning version has a subtle, moreish flavour and tends to be less salty than some of the UK variants currently on sale. As they say - "the original is usually the best"
Use French Fry Seasoning as you would salt on French fries. This type of seasoning is also used in the USA to flavour potato wedges.
